Supporting Youth Development, Access for All, and Whole Person Health
The Snoqualmie Valley YMCA is excited to
announce the launch of its 2025 Annual Fund Drive, with a goal to raise $45,000 to support
critical community programs. These funds will directly benefit local youth, families, and
individuals who rely on the YMCA's services to strengthen their physical, emotional, and social
well-being.
The Y is a cornerstone of the Snoqualmie Valley community, offering programs designed to
build a healthier, more connected, and empowered community. As a nonprofit organization, the
YMCA relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and local organizations to sustain its
mission of improving lives, regardless of age, background, or income.
Youth Development
The YMCA’s before and after school programs, summer camps, and outdoor leadership
opportunities provide young people with a supportive environment to learn and grow. By
promoting social and emotional growth, encouraging physical activity, and offering avenues for
self-expression, the Y helps kids explore their passions and gain the confidence to succeed in
life.
Access for All
In a commitment to inclusivity, the YMCA offers income-based financial assistance for
membership and programs, ensuring that financial limitations are not a barrier to accessing
critical services. By offering scholarships and sliding scale options, the Y ensures that all
families—regardless of their financial situation—have the opportunity to thrive.
Whole Person Health
The Y supports community health through programs focused on the holistic well-being of
individuals. Through customized wellness plans, disease prevention classes, and mental health
services for under-resourced communities, the YMCA works to empower individuals to achieve
better health and quality of life.
“We are honored to serve as a place where the community can come together to grow
stronger, learn new skills, and stay healthy,” said Kelly Martin, Senior Executive Director of the
Snoqualmie Valley YMCA. “But we cannot do this without the support of our community. Every
dollar raised in this campaign helps make a lasting impact in the lives of the people we serve.”
A Message from Diana Reul, Senior Director of Branch Operations
"Last year, we had the privilege of supporting a local family who faced significant financial
challenges that displaced their normal income. The parents were deeply concerned about
explaining to their kids—two active children who love soccer and basketball—that they might
no longer be able to participate in the sports they cherished. Thanks to the generosity of our
community and the scholarships provided by the Y, both kids were able to continue playing the
sports they love. It’s truly heartwarming to see the joy and confidence these kids have gained,
not only from being able to stay involved in soccer and basketball but also from knowing that
their community stands behind them, no matter what."
How You Can Help
Your contribution to the Annual Fund Drive will make a tangible difference in the lives of local
youth and families. For example, a $750 donation will provide an entire year of youth sports
scholarships, covering the cost of sessions such as soccer and basketball, which teach children
valuable life skills like teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
Additionally, your donation will help support important wellness programs like Actively
Changing Together (in partnership with Seattle Children's Hospital) aimed at kids ages 8-14,
Wellness for Life, and the Diabetes Prevention Program. These initiatives provide participants
with the tools they need to improve their health, prevent chronic illness, and make lasting
positive lifestyle changes.
Make a Difference Today
Whether you can contribute $50, $500, or $5,000, your generosity will directly support the
children and families in our community, providing them with the resources they need to thrive.
Every gift counts, and together, we can make the Snoqualmie Valley a healthier, more
connected place for all.
